I'm currently designing for the energy industry at FlowCo. I graduated from Oklahoma State University Class of 2019, majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing.
Born of Mexican descent and from Oklahoma City, I grew up online immersing myself into art, music, and culture. In high school and college, art became a way for me to express myself: drawing in a sketchbook, working on a passion project, or designing for OSU. My other influences include music, photography, and fashion, which led me to study abroad in London, England.
By then, my taste evolved with me, building who I am and giving me a way to interact with the world. I found passion in creativity and innovation which led me to pursue a Master's degree in Art and Technology at the University of Oklahoma, Class of 2024. During that time, I dug into how creative technology can support sustainability practices, AI governance within emerging tech, and the creative workflows bringing innovative projects to life.
Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, biking with my husband, and hanging out with our dogs. I love the feeling of mastering a new yoga pose, discovering a new trail, and relaxing with my babies after a long day.
I like to stay open-minded and curious, and pushing boundaries feels natural and exciting. I feel motivated by design and technology, even if it means embracing learning curves and failures.
Understanding different perspectives, both professionally and personally is important to me. Collaborating with others to share knowledge, understand each other, and build a culture of inclusion and respect is something I highly value.
I am always seeking ways to develop myself, whether it's trying new tools, reading blogs, or involving myself in design communities. I like to learn from others and receive mentorship while giving back with my own perspectives and experiences.
